Where did grow up?

I grew in mostly in Allen, TX just north of Dallas but also briefly lived in Bangalore, India for a few years.

What high school did you go to?

I went to Allen High School, the only one in our city and one of the biggest in the state :)

What was your favorite extracurricular activity in high school?

I dedicated almost every minute of my free time to making and playing music. I put out my first solo album when I was 15 and my follow up studio album when I was 18.

Why did you come to UT?

I had three main reasons:

  • I wanted to go a big school because I believe it adds a lot of value to the college experience to have a more diverse and larger student body to interact with.
  • I wanted to live in a music/art city in which I could continue working on my passions and have a scene to gain support from.
  • It’s far enough from home that I can live independently but also close enough that I can visit my family on the weekends.

Why are you majoring in CS?

I believe CS is an extremely powerful field and is where the world is heading. On top of this I’ve had an interest in technology my entire childhood and am glad that I can study something I can enjoy.

How much Javascript/Python/Web programming do you already know?

I have some web dvelopment and hosting experience from my past internship and my personal projects in which I hosted a website, manwiththeminivan.com, on my raspberry pi. In my internship I used Angular and as a result got lots of experience in Typescript, HTML, and CSS, but I have no experience with python.
